In 2013, Five Stop Story is running quarterly short story competitions.

£100 prize for the winner of each quarter's competition.
£10 each for the two runners up.
Publication on the Five Stop Story website and the Five Stop Story iPhone and iPad app for the winner, runners up and up to 17 honorary mentions each quarter.
In addition, there is a £50 prize for the overall winner of our 2013 league table.
For each win, runner up and honorary mention, you will be awarded points and entered into our 2013 league table. The winner of the league table in 2013 will receive £50. The scoring system for 2013 is as follows: A win is 10 points, a runner up position 8 points and an honorary mention 6 points.
You can see the 2012 league table here. The overall winner of the 2012 league table will be announced in early 2013.
We welcome stories of up to 3,000 words on any subject or theme.
Open to UK and international entrants aged 16 and over.
Closing dates: 31st March (Spring competition), 30th June (Summer competition), 30th September (Autumn competition), 31st December (Winter competition)
